The GCU Board of Directors, at a special meeting held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, has promoted current Chief Operating Officer Jeremy Stephenson to the role of GCU President/CEO effective August 1, 2025.

A 25-year insurance industry veteran, Jeremy joined the GCU in 2024 after a successful career as an Associate Vice-President at the Sammons Financial Group. He has spearheaded the efforts in upgrading our digital infrastructure along with developing a strong network of agents and agencies to expand the GCU footprint across the United States. Jeremy has brought fresh ideas to the Home Office and energized the staff.

With an impressive track record of success and deep understanding of the insurance industry, Jeremy will bring valuable insight and experience that aligns perfectly with GCU’s mission and goals, while building a greater vision for GCU’s future.
